At the end of this course the learner should be able to:

Know the name of each sign [Harakat] and how to pronounce them.

Know the name of each letter and the different ways to pronounce them.

Know how to read words in normal Arabic text or Quranic text.

sukoon, shadd, wao and yaa leen, madd letters
-
pause/waqf, different signs in the quran
-
Tajweed rules like ikhfaa, idgham, izhar and iqlab
Intermediate level
Prerequisite: Arabic Reading for Kids (or equivalent, i.e. knowledge of the Arabic alphabets)
